Alecia Beth Moore, or better known as Pink, began performing at the young age of 14 in Philadelphia. Her stage name Pink was a nickname inspired by the Mr. Pink character in the film Reservoir Dogs. Pink’s debut album Can’t Take Me Home released in 2000 gained commercial success at 26 on the Billboard 200 chart and platinum internationally in the U.K., Australia, and Canada.
